What the guide contains

  • The cylinder: dimensions A and B measured from the fixing screw, and the cylinder type (key/key, key/thumbturn, half cylinder).
  • The lock: mortice or rim, backset, centre distance, forend and door opening direction.
  • The lever handle: centre distance, spindle size, door thickness and type of locking.
  • The door closer: leaf width and height, door material and EN closing force.
  • A summary form to fill in and return to us with your photos.

How it works, in 3 steps

  1. Measure in millimetres, following the diagrams for the part you are replacing.
  2. Photograph the part from the front and from the side, along with any engraved markings (brand, reference).
  3. Send the form and your photos to clf@cleferm.fr or via the contact form : a Cléferm adviser will confirm the correct reference.

Unsure about a measurement? Write "I don't know" on the form and attach a photo with a tape measure placed next to the part: we will check it for you.
